Research

My research interests comprise

  • the physics of soft matter and biomaterials,
  • growth, plasticity, and elastic deformation,
  • self-organization and collective behavior,
  • active soft matter with vector and director order parameters,
  • interfacial phenomena in complex fluids,
  • pattern formation on curved evolving surfaces,
  • nonlinear dynamics and bifurcations,
  • statistical field theory.
